Rue Landau Earns Endorsement from Senator Vincent Hughes, Others
The non-incumbent with the most endorsements, her total endorsement count is at 53, including the Democratic Party, the Working Families Party, labor unions, progressive groups and elected officials
PHILADELPHIA, PA – Rue Landau, candidate for Philadelphia City Council At-Large, is proud to have received the endorsement of Senator Vincent Hughes, adding to the other endorsements she has received to date.
“Rue is the type of leader City Council needs,” said Senator Vincent Hughes. “From her work in affordable housing, to her activism fighting for marginalized communities, Philadelphians will rest easier knowing they have Rue fighting for them.” Hughes’s endorsement comes in a wave of new endorsements for Landau, including the 27th Ward, the Sierra Club, AFSCME DC 47, and the National Organization of Women.
