Rue Landau Earns Endorsement from Democratic City Committee

The only non-incumbent to earn the endorsement,
Landau also led non-incumbents in EOY fundraising haul

PHILADELPHIA, PA Last night, leadership from across the City from the Philadelphia Democratic Party voted to endorse Rue Landau for City Council At-Large, the only non-incumbent to earn the party’s support. The City party’s endorsement is just the latest for Landau’s campaign, which has won support from members of the Philadelphia state delegation, organized labor, and national groups like the LGBTQ Victory Fund. The endorsement means Landau’s name will be listed on the party’s slate across the city on Election Day in May.

“On Council, I will work every day to build true community safety, invest in our neighborhoods, and foster more affordable housing,” said Rue Landau, Candidate for Philadelphia City Council At-Large. “I’m ready to do the work, and I am so proud to have earned the recognition and support of the Democratic City Committee.”

The momentum continues to build for Landau’s campaign, which also reported the largest fundraising haul of any non-incumbent at the December 31, 2022 filing deadline, reporting more than $135,000 raised in just 60 days, and more than $130,000 cash on hand.
